What is PRX?
PRX is WiQo's needle-free, in-clinic skin treatment from Italy. A trained professional applies the gel and massages it into the skin. It works beneath the surface without visible peeling, leaving the skin's protective outer layer intact.
What's the difference between PRX·PLUS and PRX-C?
PRX·PLUS is a skin booster for mature, textured and photo-damaged skin. It brightens pigmented areas, evens tone and improves the look of texture, pores and laxity. PRX-C is a vitamin C skin booster for dull, grey or environmentally stressed skin. Your practitioner will advise which suits you.
Are there needles or downtime?
No needles, and no visible peeling. Most people return to their day straight after the session.
How long does a session take?
Around 15 minutes in the clinic. Your practitioner sets the number of sessions in your treatment plan.
Can I have PRX in summer?
Yes. WiQo describes PRX as gentle and well tolerated year-round, so you don't need to wait for winter. As with any skin treatment, daily sun protection stays important.
Who can perform PRX treatments?
PRX is for professional use only. It is applied exclusively by doctors and trained skin professionals, and isn't sold for home use.
Can I use WiQo products at home?
Yes. The WiQo homecare range (nourishing creams, Brightening Serum and Firming Body Cream) supports your skin between sessions. Ask your practitioner which products fit your routine.
